A reading of poetry [6.26.09]

In which I read from my MFA thesis manuscript, What these hands might do. Recorded during commencement weekend at Goddard College. Faculty member and author Rebecca Brown introduces me, in a reference to the previous reader’s piece (in which he mentions a Teddy Bear Museum he’d taken his daughter to visit), as “our next member of the Teddy Bear Museum.” Poems read include:

-On Géricault’s Study of Truncated Limbs
-Fight and flight
-Penelope unravels
-Styrofoam scripture
-Achilles dressing Patrochlus
